Married: December 21, 1998 to Lesley-Ann Wilson in Helen's Bay, Northern Ireland.

The Kanes share a house with friend and Team KOOL Green team-mate Dario Franchitti in Indianapolis. Jonny and Dario have raced against each other just twice - in Formula Vauxhall Junior in 1991 - with each driver winning once.

Jonny enjoys golfing and skiing and stays fit through a physical regimen of running and mountain biking.
